This is the second part of an invitation-only mini-public event organised in the framework of the REGROUP project.
The EU-funded Horizon Europe project REGROUP aims to gain insight into the opinion of a selected group of citizens about the influence of fake news on trust in politics, particularly in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The results of the project will be presented to the European Commission as advice on what future governments should do against disinformation during times of crisis. The project will also support further research into the consequences of disinformation.
The participation of citizens in this initiative will contribute to a more complete understanding of this important issue. The Citizens’ Jury on trust and fake news will take place over two days; Saturday 9 September and Saturday 23 September: Participants will receive information presented by experts and will be asked to share their views with the organisers as well as with their fellow citizens of the Jury.
By invitation only.
