Martina Popova joined the Global Governance Programme team in April 2018. She holds a BA in European Studies and a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria and a Master’s in European Studies from Maastricht University. She worked as a project coordinator for European programmes on environmental and community projects in Bulgaria for several years before becoming a communications officer at different organisations such as the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BirdLife International) and WWF. She is interested in digital behaviour and online marketing.
