In this conference, academics and EU practitioners will discuss the causes and consequences of Differentiated Integration and its application in concrete policy areas
The Trans European Policy Studies Association, the European University Institute and ETH Zürich are organising the concluding conference of the Integrating Diversity in the European Union (InDivEU) project coordinated by Brigid Laffan (EUI) and Frank Schimmelfennig (ETH Zürich). The event will bring together leading European academics and EU practitioners to discuss Differentiated Integration as one of the possible scenarios for the Future of Europe. We will discuss the causes and consequences of differentiated integration, its application in concrete policy areas such as the EMU and the EU’s relations with neighbouring countries, member states’ integration preferences, as well as policy and regulatory alternatives to differentiated integration.
The conference will take place in Brussels (Fondation Universitaire, Rue d’Egmont 11) and be livestreamed. You can register to attend the on-site event or to follow the livestreaming before 21 November – please find the programme as well as more information on how to register here.
